From Camp Alamo, Kabul Afghanistan

I sent this to my son who is serving in Afghanistan. Here is what he wrote to me about the game:

I just received the Lego Star Wars II game last night. Thank you. Now I'm Lego'd out. The Batman game is very similar to the Star Wars game. The Bat Computer in the BatCave is where you spend your Lego studs like the bar in the Mos Eisley Cantina in Star Wars. In Indiana Jones, you went into different rooms at the college for everything. One new thing Batman has, he can attack multiple targets at range with one Batarang throw, much like how he did in the beginning of Batman Returns, fighting the Red Triangle Gang.

Gift given

I'm hoping my grandson will love this game as it is one he was asking for. The shipping for this was fast.

I like this game a lot!

Now, being a lifelong BATMAN Fan, I was anxious to get this game even before I had a system to play it on! I purchase a PSP and the first game I bought for it was this one. I've bought a Batman game for the original NES, and I was let down and despite the LEGO theme and the game play that younger gamers will enjoy, I can't put this game down! They have numerous villains that you have to capture, and can eventually play as, and they also have other heroes and people that you can purchase (I got Batgirl and Nightwing today). Don't expect the dark themed Frank Miller Batman here though; Robin is always hanging around to provide comic relief in the video clips. Bottom-line, I enjoy it and have to force myself to put it down when I'm playing.

Great Game

My 11 year-old son (the user of the game) wrote this review: "Al the begginning, the game is a little boring because you can't play as a villain, but after the first chapter it's a great game. I love all the different Lego characters and their abilities. There are also lots of funny movie clips and finding the hidden objects is very challenging sometimes. I highly recommend this game."

Fun, Fun, Fun!

I have this game for the PSP, and it is really fun. You can play as bad guys or the good guys. It is the 1st LEGO Game I've purchased and it's a blast! It has several very cool gadgets, levels, and you will be liking it so much you can't set it down! And it's has lots of action too!
5 Stars!
